About Me

Hi, I'm Gina. I have over 30 years of experience working with children in various roles. In that time I found that one of the most important aspects in caring for children is helping them to learn how to communicate . Recently, I’ve been supporting children with different communication needs, from non-verbal to English as a second language and discovered Makaton as an incredibly effective tool. Seeing how much confidence the children gained as they learned and used more signs inspired me to qualify as a Makaton tutor and share this approach with others.
